Still, with a tight margin between them and the next two seeds above them, Nashville may be in a perfect spot to keep climbing.

For Cincinnati, 27 points and a 7-8-6 record have only proven sufficient to stand in the Eastern Conference’s seventh spot. However, Cincinnati is also looking for better opportunities to make the most of its upcoming games and keep climbing.

Nashville must now continue to rely on top talent such as Hany Mukhtar, who continues to lead the goal-scoring board with 12. C.J. Sapong and Costa Rica native Randall Leal have also added four assists each.

Nashville may have remained on a similar journey as their upcoming rivals. Yet, there is only a six-point gap between them and third seed New York Red Bulls. That is just two wins away from making it to the top three. 

With margins closing in, Cincinnati can now appreciate how tight some margins are beginning to look. However, with a recent 2-0 road loss against Columbus, the blue and orange will need to look for more solid performances to keep rising. 

Brandon Vasquez and Luciano Acosta have remained the two strongest seeds over the season for Cincinnati. Vasquez is now leading in goals with 10, followed by Acosta with six. Acosta is now standing with six in assists, while Vasquez has added four.
