North Carolina and Indiana clash tonight in an early-season battle between two of the top teams in the country. The Tar Heels are 5-2 this season and are looking for redemption after losing their last two games at home. They had a heartbreaking 103-101 quadruple overtime loss in their last contest against 11th-ranked Alabama on their home floor.

The Hoosiers haven’t played any ranked teams yet this season and are seventh in the country, scoring 88.8 points per game against much weaker competition. In their last game on Friday, they defeated Jackson State 90-51 for their fifth straight win at home. All but two of their victories so far have been by at least 30 points.

North Carolina has had an issue with its shooting this season, especially from beyond the arc, where they shot 7-23 during their loss to Alabama. The Tar Heels have a very experienced team, but 30% shooting from three-point range won’t be good enough to beat a team like the Hoosiers on their home floor.

Caleb Love is the leading scorer for the Tar Heels, averaging 20 points per game. He’s also first on the team in assists, with 3.4 per game.
