Willi Castro

LF

Castro will re-enter the starting nine for the first time since Wednesday, after a right hand contusion had limited him to a bench role over the Rockies' previous three contests. The Rockies have deployed Castro primarily at second base this season, but he'll cover shortstop Sunday with Ezequiel Tovar receiving the afternoon off.

Jimmy Herget

RP

The right-hander will pick up his third start of the season as an opener Tuesday, with Chase Dollander expected to follow in the bulk role. Herget has primary worked as a high-leverage arm for Colorado this season with three holds and a save, and he's been effective with a 1.64 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 8:2 K:BB over 11 innings. He won't have any fantasy relevance Tuesday while working as an opener, however.

Kyle Freeland

SP

Freeland utilized his entire arsenal and told reporters after the session that he had no issues with his shoulder. The 32-year-old southpaw is eligible to be activated off the 15-day injured list April 28, and it looks like he'll be ready to return to major-league action at that time, barring any setbacks.

Jeff Criswell

RP

Criswell is recovering from Tommy John surgery and missed the entire 2025 season. Assuming the final steps in his recovery go as planned, Criswell is expected to be activated in late April or early May.

Ryan Feltner

SP

Considering the daunting task at hitter-friendly Coors Field, Feltner certainly held his own versus a vaunted Dodgers lineup. Despite giving up three extra-base hits (two home runs), the right-hander worked his longest outing of the campaign so far and fanned a season-high five. Despite the positive showing Saturday, Feltner still doesn't shape up as a recommended fantasy option in his next scheduled start at home versus the Padres while carrying a 6.00 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 14:7 K:BB over 18 frames.
