Tanner Gordon

Gordon threw three innings of live batting practice Saturday without issue, so he'll move on to the final step of his recovery from a right hip impingement by heading out on a rehab assignment. Assuming that the right-hander is able to build up to around five innings or 70 pitches in his start Wednesday, Gordon could get the green light to return from the 15-day injured list next week. Once he's activated, Gordon will likely be plugged into the rotation spot that currently belongs to Sean Sullivan, who has posted a 10.29 ERA and 1.86 WHIP through his first two big-league starts.

Brenton Doyle

CF

Doyle has missed the last month of action with an oblique injury but has progressed enough to play in rehab games. It's unlikely Doyle will be ready to return by this weekend when the Rockies have a brief three-game road trip, but he could be back next week then the club starts another homestand.

Jordan Beck

LF

Beck has been shelved since mid-May with a left hamstring strain but is ready to test things out in a game setting. Since he's missed more than a month of action, Beck is likely to require a handful of rehab contests before returning to the Rockies' active roster.

Blas Castano

RP

Castano will return to the big-league club just a few days after being sent down to Albuquerque on Monday. The right-hander will replace Sammy Peralta in the Rockies' bullpen after Peralta was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move.

Chase Dollander

SP

Although Dollander managed to avoid undergoing a full Tommy John procedure, the operation will still put an early end to his second MLB season. He showed significant improvement in 2026, turning in a 3.89 ERA and 1.30 WHIP alongside a 47:18 K:BB in 44 innings across 10 appearances (three starts). A clearer timeline for his return could emerge as the 2027 campaign approaches.
