Orion Kerkering
RP
It was the right-hander's third session since having his throwing program delayed by a Grade 1 hamstring strain, per MLB.com. Kerkering, who's expected to be one of Philadelphia's primary setup men for closer Jhoan Duran, still has plenty of time to build up and be ready for Opening Day in late March.
Zack Wheeler
SP
Wednesday marked the All-Star right-hander's third bullpen as he continues his rehab from venous thoracic outlet surgery. Wheeler looks to be progressing well, and his throwing program will remain something to keep tabs on throughout the spring. With Wheeler still likely to begin the new year on the injured list, Andrew Painter is expected to open 2026 as part of Philadelphia's starting rotation.
Mark Kolozsvary
C
Kolozsvary appeared in just 30 games between Double-A Portland and Triple-A Worcester in the Red Sox organization in 2025 before landing on the full-season injured list in June. The Phillies don't have a clear replacement for free agent J.T. Realmuto behind the plate, but regardless the 30-year-old Kolozsvary hasn't made an appearance in the majors since 2022 and should be viewed as a long shot to break camp.
Aidan Miller
SS
Miller has been receiving treatment for lower-back soreness and is ramping up his activity level in the weight room. However, with no timeline for when he'll be allowed to hit again, it sounds like it could be a while before we see the top prospect in Grapefruit League action. Miller entered camp as a long shot to make the Phillies' Opening Day roster and the back injury makes it close to a foregone conclusion that he's ticketed for Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
Daniel Robert
RP
Robert finished the past season on the Phillies' 60-day injured list due to a left forearm strain, but it's an unrelated issue that will put him behind the team's other pitchers during the early part of camp. Philadelphia had non-tendered Robert in November before bringing him back on a minor-league deal earlier this month, so he was already considered unlikely to win a spot in the Opening Day bullpen before the cardiovascular problem surfaced.
