Brendan Donovan

Donovan is currently being evaluated by medical staff for his head injury, and the Mariners should have an update once the veteran infielder completes those tests. Weston Wilson was a late addition to the Mariners' lineup Saturday, starting at third base and batting eighth.

Bryan Woo

Woo was removed from his most recent start after 75 pitches due to shoulder soreness. The right-hander's subsequent turn in the rotation was skipped, but he was able to throw a bullpen Thursday and is slated for another Sunday. How he comes out of Sunday's session will determine how/when the Mariners put him back into their rotation, per Kramer.

Matt Brash

RP

Saturday will mark Brash's first time throwing off a mound since he landed on the injured list June 10 with a right lat strain. The Mariners still haven't set a timetable for the right-hander's return, though there is optimism within the organization that he'll rejoin the bullpen sometime in early September. A more definitive timeline will likely emerge after he gets through a few mound sessions.

Luke Raley

The move opens up a spot on the 40-man roster for left-hander Jhonathan Diaz, whose contract was selected from Triple-A Tacoma. The move also means Raley will be sidelined for the rest of the regular season, though he would be eligible to play in the postseason should the Mariners qualify and if he's made a full recovery from his left forearm strain. He'll finish the 2026 campaign with a .225/.284/.439 slash line with 15 home runs, one stolen base, 39 RBI and 28 runs across 287 plate appearances.

J.P. Crawford

Crawford has been cleared to take the next step in his recovery from left wrist inflammation that landed him on the 10-day injured list July 31. The veteran infielder may only need a couple of outings in the minors before he's cleared to return to the big club for the final stretch of the season. Prior to his stint on the IL, Crawford was slashing .212/.330/.345 with one steal, 10 home runs and 30 RBI over 364 plate appearances.
