Puk is coming back from an internal brace procedure he underwent last June. Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said Tuesday that his best guess is that Puk returns to the team at some point in June.

Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said Tuesday that more intense game action in the Arizona Complex League could come soon, at some point in early-to-mid April. That's when he'll test at full speed. Lovullo reiterated that late April is the earliest the outfielder could return, and that Gurriel will operate as the designated hitter initially upon his activation.

Merrill Kelly

The plan for Kelly, fresh off a 35-pitch bullpen session Tuesday, is to get as close to or into the 70s with his pitch count Friday. This could be the only rehab start he makes before rejoining the Diamondbacks. Kelly was placed on the 15-day injured list retroactive to March 24, which means he could be activated as early as next Wednesday April 8.

Kyle Amendt

RP

Amendt finished the 2025 campaign with a 3.03 ERA and 1.54 WHIP over 29.2 innings at Triple-A Reno. The 25-year-old righty won't get the chance to follow up his breakout season, however, as his shoulder procedure will force him to sit out the entire 2026 season.

Jordan Lawlar

The 23-year-old's initial X-Rays came back negative after being hit by a pitch, but another look revealed a fracture that will sidelined him into at least mid-May. Jorge Barrosa and Tim Tawa figure to see a bump in playing time while Lawlar is sidelined.
