Alexander was forced to exit Monday's contest against the Angels early with a muscle contusion on his right knee, and he will now miss at least one additional game as a result. Coby Mayo will draw the start at third base, batting fifth versus Los Angeles.

Felix Bautista

RP

It will be the first time Bautista has throwing off the mound since he underwent right shoulder surgery last August to repair a torn labrum and torn rotator cuff. The Orioles have not ruled out the possibility of Bautista rejoining the bullpen before the end of the season.

Cade Povich

SP

Povich was about as sharp as the Orioles could have hoped in his first game action at any level since he landed on the 15-day injured list May 8 due to left elbow inflammation. He faced just one batter over the minimum through 3.1 innings, spotting 34 of his 43 pitches for strikes while inducing five whiffs. The southpaw will likely need at least two more rehab starts to get fully stretched out, but he won't be assured a spot in the Baltimore rotation once he's deemed ready to return from the IL.

Dean Kremer

SP

Though he was making his first game appearance since landing on the 60-day injured list April 18, Kremer handled a fairly hefty workload right off the bat. He tossed 66 pitches (38 strikes) in the outing, inducing 12 swings and misses along the way. The right-hander may need just one more rehab start to continue building up his pitch count before potentially rejoining the Baltimore rotation in the first week of July.

Jackson Holliday

2B

Holliday will remain on the bench for a third straight contest as he nurses groin tightness. Jeremiah Jackson will once again start at second base and he'll bat ninth Tuesday night.
