Drew Thorpe

SP

Thorpe has been on the shelf all season while completing his recovery from April 2025 Tommy John surgery. He appears to have been healthy for quite some time, but rather than activating him from the 60-day injured list, the White Sox have elected to keep him on an extended rehab assignment. Since beginning his minor-league assignment July 18, Thorpe has made eight starts. His last four have come at Charlotte, with whom he's turned in a 3.20 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 18:3 K:BB in 19.2 innings.

Tommy Pham

LF

Pham joined Chicago on Aug. 31 in a trade with Philadelphia and logged just one plate appearance with his new club before getting hurt. Catcher Edgar Quero was recalled from Triple-a Charlotte on Sunday to take Pham's spot on the 28-man active roster.

Prelander Berroa

RP

Berroa has been on the injured list all season while working his way back from Tommy John surgery and a setback he suffered while pitching in the Arizona Complex League. He was cleared to resume throwing in early July, and although his progress has been slow, the White Sox haven't ruled out a return for the 26-year-old before the end of the season.

Ky Bush

SP

Bush has spent the entire season on the 60-day injured list while recovering from Tommy John surgery that he underwent in February. He was cleared to resume throwing in early July, but he has since suffered a setback that will keep him on the shelf for the rest of the 2026 season. Bush will turn his focus toward being fully healthy for the start of the 2027 campaign.

Tyler Davis

RP

Davis has made 24 appearances out of the Chicago bullpen this season, logging a 4.10 ERA and 22:15 K:BB over 26.1 frames. The righty will provide a fresh arm in middle relief.
