Murakami landed on the 10-day injured list Saturday and is expected to miss 4-to-6 weeks of action with a Grade 2 right hamstring strain. The hope is that the PRP injection helps aid the healing process, but he will be sidelined several weeks regardless.

Austin Hays

LF

Hays had played seven rehab contests with Charlotte, but the left calf strain that sent him to the 10-day injured list in early May is still giving him trouble. He'll meet with the White Sox's training staff and develop a plan of attack for his rehab moving forward. Hays has been limited to only 12 games for Chicago this season because of hamstring and calf issues.

Tyler Gilbert

RP

With Jordan Leasure headed to the injured list with a right flexor strain, Gilbert will join Chicago's bullpen mix. The left-hander has appeared in two games for the White Sox this season, allowing six runs on four hits and three walks with two strikeouts across 2.2 innings.

Leasure said his UCL is intact, but he's dealing with a lot of inflammation and has been diagnosed with a right flexor strain. Leasure was placed on the 15-day injured list Friday but is looking at an extended absence into July.

Noah Schultz

SP

He's able to throw on flat ground, but the right patellar tendinitis that sent Schultz to the 15-day injured list last week is still keeping the rookie southpaw away from the mound. Schultz is eligible for activation next week, but it seems unlikely he'll be ready by then, which could allow an additional start for David Sandlin.
