Gerson Garabito

RP

Garabito inked an NRI deal with Milwaukee in December that included an invite to spring training, but the 30-year-old's spring is over. The right-hander will be out four around four months, meaning he'll be sidelined until June. Garabito made three big-league appearances last season with the Rangers, logging a 9.00 ERA across eight innings.

Craig Yoho

RP

Yoho was placed on the 15-day injured list prior to Opening Day after suffering a low-grade right soleus strain late in spring training. Since he projects to handle a traditional relief role that will rarely require him to cover more than an inning or two, Yoho shouldn't require a lengthy rehab assignment before being activated. However, given that Yoho struggled in his limited big-league action in 2025 and still has two minor-league options remaining, the Brewers may opt to keep him in Nashville once he's reinstated from the IL.

Jackson Chourio

CF

Chourio's recovery from the operation has come along more slowly than anticipated, but he took a big step Friday. The talented young outfielder will continue to ramp up his rehab, with the goal of being ready for his season debut sometime in early May.

Quinn Priester

SP

Priester is slated to throw a two-up live batting practice session at the Brewers' spring training complex Thursday, and if that goes well he will be cleared to pitch in rehab games. Working his way back from symptoms related to thoracic outlet syndrome, Priester missed all of spring training, so he will need a few rehab outings before being considered for the Brewers' rotation.

Christian Yelich

LF

Yelich landed on the 10-day injured list earlier Tuesday with a left adductor strain, and it appears he's looking at a 4-to-6 week absence. It's a significant loss for the Brewers and for fantasy managers that used a top-100 pick on Yelich this spring. Gary Sanchez is in line for the bulk of the reps at designated hitter for now while Yelich is out, though Andrew Vaughn (hand) and Jake Bauers could share first base and DH once Vaughn is healthy.
