Masyn Winn

SS

Winn has missed out on the starting nine for each of St. Louis' last two games due to thumb irritation, and although he's appeared in both games off the bench, he'll remain out of the lineup Saturday. JJ Wetherholt will slide over to shortstop as a result, giving Jose Fermin a start at the keystone.

Hunter Dobbins

SP

Dobbins' forearm forced him to make an early exit from his start Friday against Philadelphia, and although he hasn't been diagnosed with any sort of structural issue, the Cardinals will give him time to recover on the injured list. Quinn Mathews was recalled from Triple-A in a corresponding move to start Saturday's game.

Everson Pereira

RF

Pereira was struck on the hand by an Orion Kerkering fastball in the top of the eighth inning. He initially stayed in the game to run the bases but did not take the field for the bottom of the frame. Initial testing seems to have revealed bad news, but the Cardinals should offer official word on Pereira later Saturday. If he has indeed suffered a fracture, Pereira's season could be over.

Andre Pallante

SP

Pallante felt some discomfort during his last start Monday in Cincinnati. He was cleared of structural damage, and the Cardinals are optimistic that he will be ready to return when his 15 days are up. Quinn Mathews will enter the St. Louis rotation in Pallante's place.

Ramon Urias

3B

Urias had to be pulled off his initial rehab assignment a little over a week ago after being hit on the elbow by a pitch. He's been out since early May with tennis elbow in both arms but could return before the end of the month if he can avoid another setback.
