Jung was diagnosed with a Grade 1 adductor strain Saturday, but he said he felt good during his field work Thursday. The Rangers still don't have a timeline in place for the 28-year-old third baseman, but there's still a chance he returns in time for Opening Day.

Justin Foscue

1B

Foscue made an early exit from Monday's Cactus League game with a hamstring injury, and imaging confirmed Saturday that he suffered a strain. He'll be shut down from baseball activities for 10 days before the Rangers reevaluate him.

Marc Church

RP

Church is working his way back from a teres major strain and could be cleared for game action by early next week if he responds well to his upcoming live sessions. The 24-year-old righty has made just six career appearances in the majors, but he boasts one of the more electric arms in the organization and could be a factor in the late innings for the Rangers later on in 2026 if he can stay healthy and keep the free passes in check.

Jose Corniell

SP

Corniell will join the big-league squad for the first time in his career Friday to help replenish the Rangers' bullpen depth following the placement of Chris Martin (undisclosed) and Cole Winn (undisclosed) on the IL. Corniell has split time between Double-A and Triple-A this season, posting a 1.67 ERA and 0.71 WHIP across 32.1 innings between the two levels.
