Nnaji will miss a second straight game due to a sprained left hip, and his next opportunity to play will come Monday against the Trail Blazers. Jonas Valanciunas could see a slight bump in minutes in Nnaji's stead, though the former still isn't guaranteed meaningful playing time.

Hardaway exited Wednesday's 130-117 win over the Utah Jazz because of left-knee soreness. He did not return. Fortunately, it appears the 34-year-old avoided a serious injury, as he is expected to suit up Saturday versus San Antonio. Hardaway has been a reliable contributor for Denver throughout the 2025-26 campaign, averaging 13.7 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.1 blocks and 0.5 steals while shooting 45.0 percent from the field and 41.0 percent from deep across 26.7 minutes per contest, mostly from off the bench.

Spencer Jones

Jones will miss a second consecutive contest due to a right hamstring strain, and it's not an encouraging sign that he's being ruled out a day in advance of tipoff. His next opportunity to play will come Monday against Portland. With Peyton Watson (hamstring) also sidelined, Julian Strawther and Tim Hardaway (knee) are candidates for increased playing time.

This is a tough blow for Denver after Watson suffered the setback during Wednesday's win over the Jazz. With the playoffs quickly approaching, the Nuggets are likely to tread carefully. In the meantime, Cameron Johnson and Julian Strawther are likely to be more involved for Denver.
