It looks like Alt has fully recovered from an ankle injury that caused him to miss the second half of the 2025 regular season. He may be limited in his practice participation early on in training camp, but the expectation is that he'll be good to go for Week 1 against the Cardinals on Sunday, Sept. 13.

Ladd McConkey

WR

The wideout will avoid placement on the active/PUP list after he battled a strained left hamstring during spring practices. McConkey had a down season in 2025 due in large part to the presence of Keenan Allen, who siphoned away targets in the middle of the field, but the veteran wasn't re-signed. McConkey is expected to be a featured part of new offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel's scheme that is built on speed and quickness. It would be a pretty big disappointment if McConkey isn't able to improve on his 66-789-6 receiving line over 16 regular-season games from last season after he went for 1,149 yards and seven touchdowns as a rookie in 2024 without Allen in the picture.

Isaiah World

OT

World tore the ACL in his left knee while playing for Oregon in the Peach Bowl against Indiana on Jan. 9. He then went undrafted in April before signing with the Chargers as a free agent. Given the nature of World's injury, there's a strong chance that he won't be ready for the beginning of the regular season, and he could potentially miss most or all of the upcoming campaign.

Cameron Dicker

PK

Dicker is coming off of a 2025 campaign during which he converted 38 of 41 field-goal attempts, notching his first Pro Bowl appearance. Dicker now owns four of the five best single-season field-goal percentage campaigns in franchise history, per Omar Navarro of the Chargers' official website. The kicker will look to build off the historic start to his career in 2026, capping off the possessions of the highly-anticipated Los Angeles offense under new offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel.

Rashawn Slater

Expectations were high for Slater after the 2021 first-rounder signed a four-year, $114 million contract extension with the Chargers in July of 2025. However, he ended up missing all of last season after undergoing surgery to repair a ruptured patella tendon that he suffered during training camp. Slater is fully recovered from the injury, and his return will bolster a Chargers offensive line tasked with protecting franchise quarterback Justin Herbert.
