Kadyn Proctor
OT
Proctor (6-foot-7, 352 pounds) is a massive offensive lineman who played left tackle at Alabama, though it remains to be seen just how well his game translates to the tackle spot in the NFL. Gigantic as he is, Proctor's standout athleticism is immediately obvious on tape, and he corroborated that further with excellent combine testing (5.22-second 40, 32.5-inch vertical). Proctor's weight is a bit high even if he otherwise carries it fairly well, and he lacks reach (33 and 3/8-inch arms) relative to blue-chip standards at tackle. That the Dolphins selected Proctor this high shows they envision him as a tackle specifically rather than a guard, and presumably at right tackle rather than left, where Patrick Paul was their most recent starter.
De'Von Achane
RB
Entering the final year of his rookie contract, Achane is in the midst of negotiations toward a long-term extension. The Dolphins have shut down trade rumors, and it sounds like Achane is on board for their rebuilding project as long as he's happy with his compensation. Given his age (24) and monstrous production, Achane probably hopes to top Saquon Barkley's RB-leading totals for average annual value ($20.6 million) and fully guaranteed money ($36 million). For now, Achane will focus on learning a new playbook under new head coach Jeff Hafley and offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik. On-field work doesn't start until mid-to-late May, with mandatory minicamp then scheduled for June 2-4.
Ronnie Harrison Jr.
LB
Harrison logged 29 tackles and 2.0 sacks in 10 regular-season games with the Falcons in 2025. The 2018 third-rounder started his pro career as a safety then transitioned to linebacker, a position Miami needed to bolster ahead of the coming campaign. He'll provide his new team with depth at the position as well as special-teams ability.
Bradley Pinion
P
The punter and kickoff specialist has been serving in both roles consistently for the past 11 seasons with the 49ers, Buccaneers and Falcons. Pinion led the NFL with 36 punts inside the 20 in 2025. He should be in line to play a similar role for Miami.
Chris Johnson
CB
Johnson (6-feet, 193 pounds) was a standout three-year starter on some good San Diego State pass defenses, demonstrating an NFL-caliber skill set in the process. Then Johnson verified at the combine that he has the wheels necessary for his game to translate to the NFL, logging a 4.44-second 40 along with a 126-inch broad jump. New Miami coach Jeff Hafley ran coverages with ambitious zone designs in Green Bay, and Johnson's schematic versatility between man and zone was likely a selling point.
