Zeke Correll
C
Correll spent the entire 2025 season on the Vikings' injured reserve after fracturing his ankle in a preseason game. He's unlikely to make the Eagles' 53-man roster by the end of training camp, but he'll at least have a chance to impress the coaching staff enough to stick around on the practice squad.
Tariq Castro-Fields
CB
Castro-Fields has been dealing with a heel injury since last week, and the issue appears severe enough to warrant his placement on injured reserve. That means Castro-Fields will be forced to miss the entire 2026 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with the Eagles.
Brandon Hayes
WR
Haynes was waived by the Eagles last Saturday but has quickly found his way back to the team. The wide receiver likely gains another chance at the active roster due to Johnny Wilson (knee) being waived with an injury designation. Haynes may see some reps in Saturday's preseason game against the Patriots even though last Saturday made it clear he is one of the more expendable players currently on the roster.
Jakorian Bennett
CB
Just shy of turning 26, Bennett appeared in 11 regular-season games with the Eagles last season and recorded just seven tackles (six solo) with one pass breakup. He's competing for a depth job in the Philly secondary.
Elijah Moore
WR
It's a bit of a setback for the sixth-year pro, who is competing in a crowded receiver room for a roster spot behind top target DeVonta Smith. The severity of Moore's injury should help determine his status as camp continues. Moore caught 10 passes for 116 yards across 10 combined regular-season and postseason games with the Bills and Broncos last season.
Makai Lemon
WR
Lemon was also listed as limited at Wednesday's practice but wasn't in uniform. The rookie first-round pick has dealt with on-and-off hamstring injuries throughout his first NFL offseason. Philadelphia is taking a cautious approach with Lemon, who is poised to operate as a starter in three-receiver sets alongside DeVonta Smith (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks once Philadelphia's wide receiver room is healthy. Lemon looks unlikely to suit up in Saturday's preseason game against the Patriots.
Byron Young
DT
Young missed Wednesday's joint session with the Patriots due to a new issue. The defensive tackle is set to play significant rotational reps for the Eagles in 2026, so any injury will likely be treated with extensive care. It is unclear how much time Young will miss due to the issue, but his absence will likely create further opportunities for Ty Robinson and Uar Bernard in Saturday's preseason showdown with the Patriots.
John Ojukwu
OT
As of now, there's no concrete timetable for Ojukwu's return to the practice field, and his status for Saturday's preseason game at New England is in doubt. In his absence, 2025 sixth-rounder Myles Hinton is a candidate to see an uptick in reps at tackle.
Shaun Wade
CB
Wade's shoulder injury could be the beginning of the end for the cornerback. The 27-year-old ended the 2025 season in early August when he reverted to the Bears' injured reserve. Wade's 2025 fate could be playing out once more, as the cornerback is on the roster bubble as it is and could be waived/injured by the Eagles very soon.
Quinyon Mitchell
CB
Mitchell lined up against former teammate A.J. Brown multiple times throughout the session, making for a spectacular battle. The cornerback has been dealing with a lower-body issue since last Wednesday and is finally ready to return to the field. The All-Pro's return is a huge boost to the Eagles' starting secondary as they get ready to take on the Patriots in Saturday's preseason showdown.
Grant Calcaterra
TE
It is unclear how long Calcatarra's back issue will keep him sidelined. The depth tight end re-signed with the Eagles in March, but has been pushed down the depth chart due to the drafting of second-round rookie Eli Stowers. Calcatarra likely has a spot on the 53-man roster locked up, and the reliable depth option merely needs to recover from the issue and continue displaying his versatility to the team.
Jonathan Greenard
LB
Greenard remains on the active/PUP list with a pectoral injury he sustained in the offseason while lifting weights. The starting strongside linebacker was initially projected to be ready to go around the late preseason, but it appears the 29-year-old's recovery process is behind schedule. If Greenard is unable to suit up for Week 1, Jalyx Hunt will likely start for the team at strongside linebacker.
Tank Bigsby
RB
Bigsby was sidelined for Monday's session due to a toe injury, but he may have sat out for maintenance purposes more than anything after he drew the start out of the backfield in place of a resting Saquon Barkley in Saturday's 24-7 loss to the Ravens in the preseason opener. According to EJ Smith of The Philadelphia Inquirer, Bigsby isn't listed among the limited participants in Wednesday's practice, so he's presumably in line to take part in every drill.
DeVonta Smith
WR
After suffering a hamstring injury early in camp, Smith had been able to work out off to the side last week before seemingly taking a step forward Monday, when he was spotted on the field in full uniform. The wideout was a limited participant in that session, and he'll have a cap on his reps once again Wednesday as the Eagles continue to ease him back from the injury. The Eagles haven't offered any indication that Smith's availability for the start of the regular season will be in any jeopardy, but it won't be surprising if he is held out of the team's final two preseason tilts.

Dallas Goedert
TE
Goedert and other key starters were rested for the preseason opener. Rookie second-round pick Eli Stowers caught all three of his targets for 12 yards, and the Eagles got their first look at the rookie second-round pick in a game situation. Stowers is unlikely to challenge Goedert for the top spot on the depth chart out of the gate, and Goedert has a clear path to heavy red-zone involvement following the offseason departure of A.J. Brown. Goedert led the Eagles with 11 receiving touchdowns during the 2025 regular season, but he had only 24 touchdown catches over the previous seven regular seasons combined.
Cole Payton
QB
The rookie fifth-round pick is strictly a developmental project, but Payton flashed some playmaking ability while saving the Eagles from a shutout with a late six-yard touchdown pass to Erik Ezukanma. Payton also accrued a team-high rushing yardage total with the help of a game-long 17-yard run, making it an eventful pro debut overall. Payton should continue to have ample second-half opportunities over Philadelphia's final two preseason games.
Eli Stowers
TE
The rookie second-round pick took advantage of all three opportunities he saw, leading to a solid professional debut. Stowers is currently listed as the No. 2 tight end on the Eagles' first unofficial depth chart, and Saturday's performance seemingly did nothing to hurt that standing.
Andy Dalton
QB
The veteran backup found out earlier in the week he'd get the starting call to open the Eagles' preseason schedule, per Jeff Neiburg of The Philadelphia Inquirer, but it could be Tanner McKee who opens Philadelphia's second preseason contest. Dalton played on the first three possessions before giving way to McKee, yet neither quarterback did anything to distinguish themselves on a sluggish night for Philadelphia's offense. Dalton's next opportunity to make a case for the No. 2 job comes next Saturday night on the road against the Patriots.
