Stowers has been dealing with a hamstring injury since at least Aug. 24, which limited him in all three Week 1 practices before the Eagles tabbed him as questionable for Sunday's season opener against the Commanders. At the same time the team placed him on IR, he was ruled out with not only the hamstring issue but a quad concern. The rookie second-round pick thus will miss at least the first four games of the campaign, allowing Johnny Mundt and E.J. Jenkins to handle the TE reps that don't go to No. 1 option Dallas Goedert.

Jonathan Greenard

LB

Greenard was upgraded to a limited participant in Friday's practice after being absent from the Wednesday and Thursday sessions. The linebacker's participation level is promising for a potential Week 2 season debut against the Titans.

Dontayvion Wicks

WR

Philadelphia lists three starting wide receivers, with those spots going to Wicks, DeVonta Smith and rookie first-round pick Makai Lemon. Wicks had 581 receiving yards as a rookie with the Packers during the 2023 regular season and has failed to reach that mark since, posting only 415 receiving yards in the 2024 regular season and 332 yards in 2025. The 25-year-old wide receiver has an opportunity to play a larger role with his new team, which will kick off regular-season action Sunday against the Commanders.

Micah Morris

G

Morris suffered a shoulder injury in early August. The offensive lineman has since recovered from the issue and is all set to practice at full capacity. Morris should be ready to suit up for Sunday's regular-season opener against the Commanders.

Britain Covey

WR

With the entirety of the Eagles' wide receiver corps healthy, Covey was likely elevated for his value on special teams. There is a good chance Covey takes punt and kick return reps away from Makai Lemon and Will Shipley, keeping the wide receiver and running back fresh for offensive possessions.
