Bedard is expected to be on the ice but limited at this point. It's unclear how much he'll be participating in activities at training camp -- he will be restricted by his ongoing recovery, which is set to have him sidelined into November. At this point, the Blackhawks aren't sure if he is ahead of schedule, so fantasy managers taking Bedard should still expect him to be out for at least a month, if not longer. More information should be available once team activities begin in earnest in the second half of September.

Matt Grzelcyk

D

Grzelcyk hasn't played since March 22 against Nashville because of the injury. He will conclude the campaign with 12 assists, 68 shots on goal, 54 blocked shots and 28 hits across 69 appearances. The 32-year-old blueliner will be eligible for unrestricted free agency in the summer.

Ryan Ellis

D

Ellis hasn't played since 2021-22 when he logged four games for the Flyers, generating one goal and four assists along the way. The 35-year-old blueliner hasn't been officially shifted to long-term injured reserve, but that move could give the Blackhawks some cap relief if they need it.
