Trevino has elevated his baseball activity this week, which began with light throwing sessions. If he comes out of Friday's activity without an issue, manager Terry Francona will begin ramping up his activity.

Nick Lodolo

A recurring blister, which first popped up toward the end of spring training, landed on the injured list to start the season. If he comes out of Friday's session without a setback, the Reds are hoping the left-hander can build up to three innings Tuesday.

Caleb Ferguson

RP

If all goes well in Sunday's session, Ferguson could progress to facing live batters Tuesday. The next step beyond that would be a rehab assignment.

Hunter Greene

Greene underwent surgery in mid-March to remove bone chips in his throwing elbow. His placement on the 60-day IL means that the earliest he can make his 2026 regular-season debut is late May, though the nature of the procedure means that Greene will likely be out of action for at least the first half of the season. The Reds selected Nathaniel Lowe's contract from Triple-A Louisville in a corresponding move.
