Clayton wasn't available for the Grizzlies during the Salt Lake Summer League, with that trend continuing through the first two games in Las Vegas. Although Clayton's collective absences likely won't impact his spot on the depth chart ahead of the 2026-27 campaign, the concern regarding his health will continue to grow until he's back on the floor. His next opportunity to suit up will come Tuesday versus Golden State.

Karim Lopez

F

Lopez has yet to suit up this summer due to a left hamstring strain. His next chance to make his Summer League debut will come Tuesday against Golden State.

GG Jackson

F

Jackson is coming off a letdown of a 2025-26 campaign, but the Grizzlies are still believers in his long-term upside. Across 55 regular-season contests, he averaged 12.45 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists on 49.6 percent shooting from the field.

Richie Saunders

G

The soon-to-be 25-year-old is one of the older players in this draft, but he's also one of the more NBA-ready guys, with a pure shooting stroke and high basketball IQ. Saunders put in averages of 18.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 2.6 triples and 1.7 steals per game on 49/38/82 shooting splits during his senior season at BYU, and he could immediately carve out a role on this rebuilding Memphis team.

Jaylen Wells

F

Wells' defensive ability and complementary skill set could help him carve out a role alongside the Grizzlies' established core. However, increased competition for minutes may make consistent opportunities more difficult to secure. In addition to Boozer, the Grizzlies also added forward Karim Lopez in the first round.
