Tre Donaldson
G
Donaldson will sit in the second leg of the Heat's back-to-back set in Las Vegas, and his next opportunity to play will be Monday against the Cavaliers. He was in Miami's starting lineup against Milwaukee on Friday, when he played 23 minutes and finished with 12 points (4-5 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six assists, two steals and one block in a 119-86 victory.
Ryan Conwell
G
Conwell will receive a rest day in the second leg of this back-to-back set. His next opportunity to play will come Monday against the Cavaliers.
Myron Gardner
F
Gardner's Summer League is over because of an ankle sprain he suffered in Friday's California Classic opener in San Francisco against the Spurs. The swingman is missing out on valuable reps as he competes for a rotation spot with the Heat, but he does have plenty of time to recuperate for training camp in the fall.
Dru Smith
G
Smith (foot) is coming off his best season since entering the league. In 70 regular-season appearances with the Heat in 2025-26, the 28-year-old averaged 5.6 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.3 blocks and 1.4 steals across 16.3 minutes of work. Smith isn't an efficient shooter or a reliable scoring threat, but he could continue to receive routine minutes throughout the 2026-27 campaign due to his defensive prowess. Of course, that's assuming he remains in Miami.
Giannis Antetokounmpo
F
After 13 seasons, 10 All-Star nods, two MVPs and a championship, Antetokounmpo will take his talents to South Beach. The superstar forward appeared in just 36 regular-season games in 2025-26 due to several injuries, averaging 27.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.7 blocks in 28.9 minutes per showing. He'll now form a formidable pairing with Bam Adebayo in the Miami frontcourt as the Bucks navigate life without their franchise cornerstone.
Bam Adebayo
C
This is a huge loss for the Heat, as Adebayo is one of Miami's go-to options on offense while also operating as the barometer on the defensive end. Without Adebayo, look for Kel'el Ware to continue handling a bigger role in the frontcourt for Miami. Adebayo exits the game with six points (3-3 FG), three rebounds, an assist and a steal across 11 minutes.
