Edwards recently missed six consecutive games due to right knee pain and may be held out of the front end of this back-to-back set. If the star guard is ruled out, Bones Hyland, Mike Conley and Terrence Shannon would be candidates to see increased playing time. Edwards returned from the extended absence in Monday's blowout win over Dallas, posting 17 points (7-13 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four assists and two rebounds across 23 minutes.

Jaden McDaniels

Including Monday's game versus Dallas, McDaniels is likely to miss at least Minnesota's next four contests with this timeline for a return. His absence should allow Kyle Anderson to play a significant role in the frontcourt for the time being.

Rocco Zikarsky

Zikarsky will rejoin the parent club ahead of Friday's game versus the Mavericks, but with the Minnesota frontcourt at full strength coming out of the All-Star break, the rookie big man is uncertain to be active for the contest. The two-way rookie out of Australia is still waiting to make his NBA debut.
