Taylor-Demerson picked up the injury in the first quarter of Saturday's game, and he'll finish with one solo tackle if he's not cleared to return. Wydett Williams is in line for additional snaps in the secondary for as long as Taylor-Demerson is out of action.

Blake Gillikin

If Gillikin is unable to play Saturday, then placekicker Chad Ryland would serve as the Cardinals' punter. Gillikin has been with the Cardinals since October of 2023 after starting his NFL career with the Saints in 2020.

Trey Benson

RB

After stretching with the team ahead of Monday's walkthrough practice, Benson hasn't since been seen by the media. He's been dealing with the knee injury all summer after missing the final 14 weeks of the 2025 campaign with an injury to the same knee. Unable to practice much or play so far this summer, Benson could be on the outside looking in for a roster spot, considering he doesn't play special teams.

Tip Reiman

TE

The tight end might also have to stay on the PUP list when the campaign begins, at which point he would move from active/PUP to reserve/PUP and have to miss the first four regular-season contests. Reiman suffered a season-ending ankle injury four games into 2025 and began training camp on the active/PUP list. The 2024 third-round pick is set to play a supporting role behind starting tight end Trey McBride when he returns.

Chad Ryland

PK

Ryland's one miss was excusable considering the distance, and the fourth-year pro was otherwise perfect on the night. Through three preseason games, the 2023 fourth-round pick of the Patriots is 7-for-9 on field goals and has connected on all seven extra-point tries. Ryland is the only placekicker on the Cardinals' roster and will be looking to improve on the 81.5 percent success rate on field goals that he's mustered over his first two seasons in Arizona during the 2026 campaign.
