Luke Lachey
TE
Lachey was drafted in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL Draft by Houston and spent all of last season on the Texans' practice squad. The Packers plucked him off waivers in mid-May but subsequently waived him with a failed physical. Lachey appears to be past whatever was ailing him given his reunion with Green Bay. He'll compete for a depth role in the team's TE corps, though it wouldn't be surprising if he begins the campaign on the practice squad.
Luke Musgrave
TE
Head coach Matt LaFleur wouldn't disclose Musgrave's injury, but the tight end was spotted on a treadmill in the rehab area during Wednesday's practice. Despite Tucker Kraft (knee) missing Green Bay's final nine regular-season games in 2025, Musgrave remained a minimal part of the offense, catching just 24 of 31 targets for 252 yards. Once he returns to full health, he'll likely battle for one of the Packers' reserve TE spots.
Tucker Kraft
TE
Coming back from last year's ACL tear, Kraft is absent from OTA practices but hopes to participate in training camp. Packers coach Matt LaFleur also said he hopes to have the tight end on the field during the early portion of training camp, and Packers GM Brian Gutekunst said Kraft is ahead of schedule in his rehab process. While the Packers have a well-earned reputation for caution with injured players, it sounds like all parties are on board for Kraft making a run at gaining clearance for Week 1.
Christian Watson
WR
Per Schefter, Watson's new deal is a four-year, $110.5 million pact that includes a $31 million signing bonus. The 2022 second-rounder is coming off a 2025 regular season in which he recorded 35 catches (on 55 targets) for 611 yards and six touchdowns in 10 games. As the coming campaign approaches, Watson, Jayden Reed and Matthew Golden are in line to pace a Green Bay WR corps that also includes Savion Williams, Bo Melton and Skyy Moore following the offseason departures of Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks. Looking ahead, Watson's per-route production makes him a fantasy breakout candidate in 2026, provided he can stay on the field.
Jordan Love
QB
Love mentioned WRs Christian Watson, Jayden Reed and Matthew Golden, adding that the pass-catching group will be back to full strength once TE Tucker Kraft (knee) is healthy. The Packers didn't do much to replace offseason losses, but they'll still have a strong core on both sides of the ball if Kraft and OLB Micah Parsons come back from ACL tears and perform at a high level. Love, meanwhile, seems to be healthy and staying busy this summer, working with his longtime private QB coach, Steve Calhoun, after the Packers wrapped up their offseason program in mid-June.
