Back-to-back full practices have Kirk trending in the right direction ahead of Sunday's game against the Falcons. The 49ers have until Saturday to activate Kirk from IR ahead of Week 7 action, but if he's available this weekend he'd provide a boost to a WR corps dealing with injuries to both Mike Evans (ribs/Achilles) and Deebo Samuel (hamstring).

Mike Evans

Evans officially logged a second consecutive DNP after he made an early exit from Monday's win against the Commanders due to an aggravation of a right Achilles' injury, which head coach Kyle Shanahan has called soreness, per Wagoner. While Evans now has just one more chance to mix into drills this week, he's proved in the past that he doesn't require practice reps to be available on game days. Whether or not he has a chance to play Sunday in Atlanta will become known once the 49ers post their final Week 7 injury report Friday.

Jaden Dugger

LB

Dugger appears to have picked up a knee injury in the 49ers' Week 6 win over the Commanders. The strongside linebacker's ability to practice in the first Week 7 prep session is a strong sign that he should be able to suit up for Sunday's contest against the Falcons. Dugger will likely need to upgrade to full participation by Friday's session to avoid an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game.

Mykel Williams

DE

Williams likely sustained his knee injury in the 49ers' Week 6 win over the Commanders on Monday night. It is unclear how significant the defensive end's issue is. Still, he will need to achieve some level of practice participation by Friday to have any hope of suiting up for Sunday's game against the Falcons.

Nick Bosa

DE

Bosa was unable to practice for the second straight day to open the week as he continues to work his way back from a calf injury that has sidelined him since Week 2. The defensive lineman is all but guaranteed to miss a fifth straight game Sunday versus the Falcons, but the team expressed optimism that Bosa could return to action Nov. 8 against the Raiders, per Matt Zenitz of CBSSports.com.
