McGowens' absence streak will extend to 11 consecutive games as he continues to recover from a right small toe fracture. The 23-year-old guard still lacks a clear timetable for a return, and with the Pelicans already eliminated from playoff contention, the team will likely continue to exercise extreme caution. McGowens can be considered doubtful for future contests until the team provides an update.

Trey Murphy III

F

Murphy is in danger of missing his fourth consecutive contest due to a lingering right ankle sprain. With New Orleans already eliminated from postseason contention, the team has little incentive to rush the 25-year-old wing back to the floor. If Murphy remains sidelined Thursday, look for Jeremiah Fears and Jordan Hawkins to continue logging increased minutes.
