Herrin was hit on the elbow by a comebacker in the sixth inning, but he appears to have escaped the incident with nothing more than a bruise. He may be unavailable out of the bullpen for a game or two to recover from any lingering soreness, though an extended absence isn't likely.

Jose Ramirez

The All-Star third baseman had the stitches removed from his surgically repaired left hand Tuesday, and it sounds as though he was immediately cleared to pick up a bat. Ramirez will continue progressing in his rehab program and is aiming to return shortly after the All-Star break

Angel Martinez

LF

This marks the second recovery checkpoint for Martinez, who shed a walking boot last week. He was placed on the injured list June 16 and given a four-to-six week timeline for recovery. While the four-week mark would have him return following the All-Star break, the MLB.com report estimates a late July return.
