Zach Collins
F
Collins will return to Chicago on a multi-year deal rather than testing free agency. The big man was limited to just 10 games during the 2025-26 campaign, averaging 9.7 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 18.4 minutes per contest while dealing with a left wrist fracture early in the season before suffering a right toe sprain that ultimately required surgery. Collins figures to provide center depth off the bench alongside Jalen Smith (calf) behind the recently acquired Nic Claxton (finger).
Jalen Smith
F
Smith got a chance to start for the Bulls at times in 2025-26 as they searched for Nikola Vucevic's replacement, averaging 12.1 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 0.8 blocks in 24.6 minutes per tilt across 21 regular-season games as a starter last season. Now that Claxton is in the picture, Smith appears primed to revert back to the No. 2 center role in 2026-27, which could cap his upside from a fantasy perspective. Availability has also been a concern for Smith throughout his career, as he's never reached the 70-game mark in any of his first six seasons.
Josh Giddey
G
Chicago has focused primarily on frontcourt additions so far this offseason with their recent moves, setting up Giddey with plenty of talent around him for playmaking opportunities. Anfernee Simons (wrist) and Collin Sexton are both unrestricted free agents this summer, potentially leaving Giddey with a ton of usage on his plate in the backcourt next season.
Nic Claxton
C
Claxton will head to Chicago after spending the first seven years of his career with the Nets. The big man appeared in 69 regular-season games (68 starts) in 2025-26, averaging 11.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.1 blocks and 0.7 steals in 27.8 minutes per contest. He missed the team's final five games with a sprained finger, though he's expected to be ready to go for training camp. Claxton is under contract through the 2027-28 campaign.
Nick Richards
C
Richards will be sidelined for the remainder of the campaign as he continues to recover from a right elbow sprain. Head coach Billy Donovan confirmed Friday that Richards-along with Josh Giddey, Guerschon Yabusele, Jalen Smith, and Anfernee Simons-will be held out for the final two games against the Magic and Mavericks. Richards finishes the season having missed the final 10 games. With Yabusele also ruled out, the Bulls will likely rely on Patrick Williams (thumb) and Lachlan Olbrich (foot) to handle the bulk of the minutes at center.
Isaac Okoro
F
Okoro will miss his third straight game as the Bulls' season comes to an end. The 25-year-old will end his 2025-26 season with averages of 9.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.2 triples per contest.
Rob Dillingham
G
A timetable was not provided, but this is highly unlikely to impact his status for training camp in September. After his mid-season trade to Chicago, Dillingham made 30 regular-season appearances with 9.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.0 three-pointers in 21.5 minutes per contest.
