Ajay Mitchell
G
Mitchell (calf) had a breakout campaign in his second NBA season and could earn a larger role in 2026-27 though he'll still have to compete with Cason Wallace, Alex Caruso and Jared McCain for consistent playing time. His continued development as a secondary playmaker could determine whether he becomes a reliable fantasy contributor.
Otega Oweh
G
Oweh suffered an apparent lower left leg injury in the Salt Lake City Summer League and did not suit up in Las Vegas. He appeared in two Salt Lake City Summer League outings, averaging 6.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.5 assists in 23.6 minutes per contest.
Aday Mara
C
Oklahoma City got a good look at Mara during exhibition play, as the rookie big man averaged 9.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.8 blocks in 23.9 minutes per game over five Summer League appearances. Mara, a 2026 first-rounder, will be competing with Jaylin Williams for the backup center gig behind Isaiah Hartenstein during training camp.
Thomas Sorber
C
Sorber can now officially be ruled out for Summer League but is expected to be ready for the start of training camp. The 20-year-old center missed the 2025-26 campaign with a torn ACL in his right knee, and he isn't guaranteed a consistent role this season while competing for minutes with Aday Mara and Jaylin Williams behind expected starter Isaiah Hartenstein.
Jalen Williams
G
Williams aggravated his left hamstring injury in Game 2 and missed the next three contests before returning for Thursday's Game 6 loss. The star forward played just 10 minutes and took only one shot, chipping in one point and one assist. He's now being ruled out for Game 7 due to injury management, so his next chance to play will come in the NBA FInals if the Thunder win Saturday. With Williams sidelined, Jared McCain, Kenrich Williams and Cason Wallace will likely see increased run in Game 7.
Nikola Topic
G
With the Thunder's season over, Topic underwent a minimally invasive lumbar microdiscectomy procedure, and the operation shouldn't impact his availability for the start of the 2026-27 campaign. The guard played sparingly during the postseason after appearing in 10 regular-season games for Oklahoma City, averaging 5.2 points, 4.4 assists and 1.9 rebounds in 16.0 minutes per contest.
