Alexander was taken off the court on a stretcher in Monday's 80-63 win over the Bulls due to a left rib contusion, and Utah is taking a cautious approach in its Summer League finale. The two-way player has plenty of time to recuperate ahead of training camp in the fall.

Ace Bailey

The Jazz are giving Bailey Friday night off while he tends to right back spasms. Given the nature of the injury, the 2025 first-rounder should be fully recovered in time for training camp this fall.

Darryn Peterson

Peterson is sitting out Utah's Summer League finale Friday. The rookie first-rounder is primed for a significant Opening Night role with the Jazz in 2026-27.

Cody Williams

F

Williams remains day-to-day due to an ailment. He should be a full participant for training camp in the fall.

Jusuf Nurkic

C

Nurkic was highly productive when available for the Jazz, averaging 10.9 points, 10.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.3 steals in 26.4 minutes per game across 41 regular-season games (36 starts) last year. The veteran big man will have a new partner in the frontcourt with Jaren Jackson now in the fold, so it'll be interesting to see how the two big men mesh in 2026-26. Nurkic should be ready for the start of training camp after undergoing season-ending nose surgery in February.

Jaren Jackson Jr.

Jackson appeared to fit seamlessly after arriving in Utah last season before a knee issue cut his campaign short, and he should remain a focal point of the team's frontcourt once healthy. Peterson's arrival could reduce some of the offensive burden on Jackson while allowing him to focus more heavily on his defensive impact. Assuming he enters training camp healthy, Jackson projects to remain one of Utah's most productive two-way players.

Isaiah Collier

G

The second-year guard flashed strong playmaking ability during his sophomore campaign with 7.2 assists across 59 regular-season appearances, but Peterson is expected to assume a significant offensive role immediately. Collier could still maintain value as a secondary ball-handler, although his ceiling may depend on how the Jazz distribute minutes among their young guards.

Keyonte George

G

George remains an important piece of Utah's rebuilding effort, but Peterson's arrival could reduce his on-ball responsibilities after he served as one of the team's primary playmakers last season. The additional talent should improve the quality of George's opportunities, though his fantasy value may become more dependent on efficiency than volume. The Jazz are also projected to be much more competitive in 2026-27, bolstering his late-season outlook.

Kyle Filipowski

F

Two consecutive absences will end Filipowski's second season in the NBA. He improved on most of his numbers from his rookie season but was especially potent down the stretch. After the All-Star break, he averaged 15.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.2 steals in 26.5 minutes.
