George will miss a 12th consecutive contest due to a right hamstring strain and is without a clear timetable for a return. The third-year point guard should be considered doubtful for future contests until the Jazz offer an update on his progress. With Isaiah Collier (hamstring) and Elijah Harkless (hamstring) also sidelined, Kennedy Chandler and Bez Mbeng should continue seeing significant minutes.

A left hamstring injury is costing Collier a ninth consecutive contest Friday. Fresh off inking a two-year contract with the Jazz, Bez Mbeng should see the bulk of the minutes at point guard should fall into his hands.

Elijah Harkless

G

Harkless will miss a third straight game while dealing with a left hamstring issue. Isaiah Collier (hamstring) and Keyonte George (hamstring) are also out, leaving Kennedy Chandler and Bez Mbeng to shoulder the majority of the minutes in the backcourt.

Lauri Markkanen

F

Markkanen has dealt with both a right hip impingement and a sprained ankle since he last played Feb. 23, though the hip injury has been the lingering issue. The star forward's next opportunity to play will come April 3 against Houston. However, there's a very real chance that the Jazz will shut him down for the remainder of the season, as they'll have only five games remaining when he's slated to be re-evaluated. Andersson Garcia, John Konchar (quadriceps) and Blake Hinson are candidates to see increased minutes for as long as Markkanen remains sidelined.

Jusuf Nurkic

C

Nurkic came back from the All-Star break with a nose injury, and he's opting for a procedure to repair the issue. The 31-year-old big man is set to be an unrestricted free agent ahead of 2026-27, and he should receive plenty of interest on the open market this summer after averaging 10.9 points, 10.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.3 steals in 26.4 minutes per contest through 41 games this season. With Nurkic's campaign over, the runway is clear at center for Kyle Filipowski to handle a starting role the rest of the way.

Jaren Jackson Jr.

This is a tough news for Utah's newest addition. Jackson is likely to undergo further evaluation, but fantasy managers should be prepared for the worst.
